ACES

Project Overview

ACES is a national provider of autism therapy services with over 28 years of experience and locations in 80+ cities. Despite their scale and strong reputation in the healthcare space, they were struggling to appear in search results, especially in newer markets. They needed a national SEO strategy that could improve local visibility, drive non-branded traffic, and support continued growth.
We launched a national and local SEO campaign alongside a modern site rebuild to support performance and search discoverability. In under two years, ACES now ranks in the #1 position for over 220 keywords and appears on the first page for 80% of all tracked terms. Non-branded clicks have grown by 48% year-over-year, attracting more qualified visitors across their national footprint.

We analyzed direct competitors in the ABA therapy space to understand their campaign strategies and identify opportunities for ACES to gain market share. By tracking competitor keyword rankings and organic traffic volumes, we determined which competitors were investing heavily in SEO versus those relying on paid advertising. Our analysis revealed the relative value of keywords we were targeting. Comparing our traffic to competitors ranking for similar terms helped validate our strategy focus. We continue monitoring competitor performance monthly, tracking when ACES outperforms them in rankings and measuring the traffic impact of capturing high-value keywords. We implemented continuous monitoring and optimization cycles to ensure ACES maintained momentum beyond initial improvements.
