Tired children sleep better. Try to make sure your little ones get plenty of active play time everyday. If they can be outside, that's even better!
Overtired children have trouble falling asleep. We don't skip naps in our house!
How do we signal to our kids that it's time to start
"winding down" for the day?
Right before dinner, we do a quick tidy up around the house.
In our house, a successful day of play often means there are toys (or outdoor gear) scattered about needing to be put back into their places.
We put the toys away, wipe our muddy boots off, and hang up any newly finished art creations.
